The Board voted to approve a recommendation to reimagine Red Clay's secondary schools through the McKean Innovation Center (MIC) plan.
The recommendation included:
π« Consolidate 3 to 2: Dickinson and A.I. DuPont would become the district's comprehensive attendance-zone high schools.
π Convert McKean: McKean would transition from an attendance-zone high school to an Innovation Center.
π Student Shuttles: Students from Dickinson and A.I. duPont would be transported to McKean for pathway programs.
π Relocate Meadowood: The Meadowood program would move to A.I. duPont.
π Relocate MYP: Dickinson's MYP/IB program would move to Skyline.
πΊοΈ Adjust Attendance Zones: High school feeder zones would be realigned.

The Board voted to establish the Secondary Attendance Zone & Programming Committee to evaluate enrollment, programming, and attendance zones and develop recommendations aligned with the district's Enrollment & Programming plan.
